General Exclusion Guideline for Ill Students

1.  Any student who vomits in the previous 24 hours, unless determined to be caused by a non-communicable condition, should remain home for 24 hours and be able to keep down solid foods.

2.  Any student who has a fever of 100 degrees or higher should remain home until the temperature has been normal for 24 hours without fever-reducing medications (ex. Tylenol or Ibuprofen).

3. Any student who has diarrhea should remain home until free of diarrhea for at least 24 hours.
