School Volunteers are an essential part of success of students and staff at Pleasant Hill R-3 School District by serving in many ways.
Missouri law requires those who volunteer with the district acquire a criminal background check at the expense of the volunteer. The background check is performed by both the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. All volunteer applicants must visit one of the IdentoGo Office Locations for fingerprinting. (see the "Search for Fingerprint Locations Near You" link at www.machs.mo.gov)
Our DESE Volunteer code is - 0382( you will need this code when registering for your fingerprints)
-Anyone attending a school field trip must obtain a background check.
-Unfortunately we cannot accept background checks from employers or other sources. Our volunteers must use a specific code to be registered with our district.
-Background checks are good for several years and do not need to be completed yearly.
-Please notify Central Office 816-540-3161 when you have completed the fingerprint process.
